The clue is in the name. HVRT, which stands for High Velocity, Rough Terrain, is a rare breed of road bike with unique features that convert it into a multi-surface speed machine. From sunrise to sunset, the HVRT is engineered for endurance, delivering a fast and ferocious ride along winding roads, steep slope descents and uphill route climbs.
Thanks to its massive tyre clearance, riders have the option to switch out the wheels. Slick tyres mounted on fancy 700c x 30mm rims give a road bike feel. Swap them out for 650b x 47mm wheels and watch it transform into a road-plus pothole slayer. Fat tyres also allow riders to lower the tyre pressure, increasing the handling on uneven terrain. This ability to adapt gives the freedom to explore on and off road without compromise on performance.
The HVRT also features our award-winning TwinTip Fork, which allows riders to change the position of the axle to suit the surface. The ‘hi’ axle position results in a more aero position with a steeper head angle for fast rides and races on flat, smooth or technical terrain. The ‘lo’ position results in a higher stack with slacker angles for endurance or touring on varied terrain or flat gravel roads.
All other features on the bike have been designed with adventures in mind. Cables are intentionally exposed to allow for maintenance on the move. A lightweight EPS carbon frame absorbs road vibration for a more comfortable ride. Fabric’s award-winning Scoop Ultimate Flat saddle is suitable for all cycling disciplines. Carbon Aero HUNT wheels provide unbeatable vibration reduction, grip and low rolling-resistance.
